Rebound relationships often receive a bad rap, but not everything about them is as horrible as people think. They can — and often do — serve an important purpose in one’s healing journey. They can provide a sense of comfort, boost self-esteem, and offer a fresh perspective on what one wants in a partner.

The key is to approach them with the right mindset. Don’t think about them as something you should avoid or something that’s destined for failure. Rather, think about rebounds as opportunities for growth, regardless of whether they fail or succeed.
